About the Winery
Founded in 1949 by Mario Mereu as the first winery to bottle wine in the province of Nuoro, Tenute Perda Rubia in Talana, Ogliastra, spans 20 hectares of organically farmed vineyards on granite-derived soils. Now in its third generation, the estate is renowned for its Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva produced from historic ungrafted vines preserving original clones from the early 1900s, alongside wines from indigenous varieties including Muristellu, Semidano, Nuragus, and Vermentino.
