About the Winery

Named for its dramatic cliff-top location overlooking the sea on the island of Sant'Antioco in southwestern Sardinia, Tenuta La Scogliera cultivates historic ungrafted Carignano vines on pure sandy soils using the traditional alberello (bush vine) method. The estate's flagship wine, Raije (meaning 'roots' in Tabarkino dialect), is born from these centuries-old vines that have preserved their original characteristics, offering an authentic taste of one of Sardinia's most distinctive viticultural landscapes.
