About the Winery

Founded in 1926 and operated by the three Rau brothers, Tenuta L'Ariosa is a historic estate near Sassari that combines wine production with the family's renowned distilling tradition, including the crafting of Mirto di Sardegna liqueur and artisanal grappas. The estate's vineyards, situated in Sardinia's unspoiled landscape where sea breezes and rocky soils create ideal conditions, produce outstanding wines from indigenous varieties including Vermentino, Cannonau, Cagnulari, Carignano, and Moscato Passito.
