About the Winery

Operating under the Villa di Quartu brand since 1994, the Cesare Fois winery continues a family winemaking tradition that began in the 19th century on the hills overlooking the Gulf of Angels near Quartu Sant'Elena. The estate cultivates traditional Sardinian varieties including Vermentino, Moscato, Malvasia, Nasco, Monica, Cannonau, Barbera, and Bovale on calcareous and sandy soils, producing genuine wines that reflect the typicity of southern Sardinia's viticultural heritage.
