Cantina Mattia Muggittu is a young family winery in Mamoiada, central Sardinia, run by Mattia Muggittu, a 23-year-old winemaker who gained international attention for a legal dispute with Red Bull over his oxen logo that celebrates local winemaking traditions. The estate produces Cannonau wines that express the high-altitude terroir and granite soils of the Mamoiada region, following organic and traditional viticultural practices.
