About the Winery

I Garagisti di Sorgono is an artisanal collective founded by three friends, Pietro Uras, Simone Murru, and Renzo Manca, in Sorgono, central Sardinia's Mandrolisai region. The estate farms 9 hectares of ancient vines, some over 80 years old, at elevations between 480 and 700 meters on white and pink granite soils, producing just 24,000 bottles annually from indigenous varieties Cannonau, Monica, and Bovale Sardo using hand-harvesting and antique wooden presses.
