About the Winery

Cantine Sardus Pater is a cooperative winery founded in 1949 on the island of Sant'Antioco in southwestern Sardinia, with 200 member growers cultivating 300 hectares of vineyards. The winery is dedicated to championing the native Carignano grape, with some vines over 70 years old thriving on sandy soils, and also produces Vermentino, Moscato, and Nasco from ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vineyards.
