About the Winery
Founded in 2001 by Sara Spanu and her husband Walter in Martis, in the historic Anglona region of northern Sardinia, Binzamanna was created to recover abandoned native vineyards and revitalize the local wine culture. Spanning 22 hectares and now certified organic, the estate cultivates Vermentino, Cannonau, Cagnulari, Bovale, and Cabernet Sauvignon, with its Cagnulari-based Spanu and Sas Piras wines representing the tradition of this once-forgotten terroir.
