Amastuola Organic Wines
About the Winery
Amastuola is a 15th-century masseria in Crispiano, in the Terra delle Gravine area near the Itria Valley, that has been transformed into an elegant wine resort surrounded by 100 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. The estate, owned by the Montanaro family, produces over ten wine labels from native varieties including Primitivo, Aglianico, Fiano, and Malvasia, with a distinctive 'vineyard-garden' designed by Spanish landscape architect Fernando Caruncho featuring geometric waves of vines interspersed with centuries-old olive trees.
