About the Winery
Terre Sparse is a family farm established in 2001 in Bienca, a hamlet of Chiaverano in the Canavese area of Piedmont, by Diego and Franca Trompetto, with their son Matteo joining in 2007 after studying viticulture and oenology. The estate produces different types of Erbaluce, Canavese Rosso, Nebbiolo, and two rosés made from Uva Rara, with wines aged in a unique natural cellar called a balmetto.
