About the Winery

Santuvario is a small, natural winery founded in 2012 by Ivano Barbaglia and Paola Fornara in Borgomanero, in the Boca zone of Alto Piemonte. The estate cultivates 2.5 hectares of centenary vines of Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina, and Uva Rara on volcanic porphyry and basalt soils, producing approximately 3,800 bottles annually with indigenous yeast fermentation and no temperature control.
