About the Winery
Rocco di Carpeneto is a radical, low-intervention winery established in 2008-2009 in Carpeneto, in the Alto Monferrato hills of Piemonte, born from Paolo and Lidia's decision to leave Milan and reconnect with nature. The estate produces wines exclusively from old vines planted between 1955 and 1986, focusing on indigenous varieties including Cortese, Moscato, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Albarossa, and Nebbiolo, with minimal treatments following the principles of 'do nothing farming' as members of Vinnatur and FIVI.
