About the Winery
Pico Maccario Societa Semplice Agricola is a family winery founded in 1997 in Mombaruzzo, in the heart of the Barbera d'Asti DOCG zone of Piemonte, with 112 hectares of contiguous vineyards. Run by brothers Pico and Vitaliano Maccario, the winery is celebrated for its modern approach to viticulture and winemaking, producing acclaimed Barbera d'Asti along with wines from their Langhe holdings, and is recognized for its distinctive color-coded pencil-themed branding.
