Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia is a prestigious Barolo project founded in 1998 by the Migliorini family of Podere Rocche dei Manzoni, centered on a historic 9-hectare single vineyard in the Bussia cru of Monforte d'Alba where Napoleon once built a powder magazine. The estate produces two exceptional Nebbiolo wines: Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia DOCG and a Riserva DOCG made only in the best vintages, with the vineyard managed through integrated pest management, biodiversity enhancement, and sustainable practices.
