About the Winery

Founded in 1978 by Piero Benevelli in Monforte d'Alba, this family estate is now led by his son Massimo, who produces classic Langhe wines from Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera with a focus on organic vineyard practices. The estate's Barolo crus from Le Coste di Monforte, Mosconi, and Ravera di Monforte showcase the distinctive power and concentration of Monforte's southeastern-facing hillside vineyards.
