Olek Bondonio has become one of the most sought-after names in Barbaresco, tending nearly seven hectares across some of the region's most prestigious crus including Roncagliette, Starderi, Altavilla, Neive, and Catagnole delle Lanze. A former professional snowboarder who returned to his family's 200-year-old farmhouse 'La Berchialla,' Bondonio farms organically with biodynamic practices, producing pure, old-school expressions of Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d'Alba, and the rare Pelaverga grape from 50-year-old vines with minimal cellar intervention.
