About the Winery

Located in Monleale in the Colli Tortonesi, Vigneti Massa is led by Walter Massa, universally known as the Maestro of Timorasso for rescuing the variety from near-extinction. The estate produces outstanding wines from Timorasso, Barbera, Croatina, Freisa, and Nebbiolo from old-vine plots on calcareous and clay soils at 250-280 meters altitude, crafting some of Italy's most age-worthy and distinctive expressions.
