About the Winery
Founded by Stefano Turbil in 2005 near Chiomonte in Val di Susa, La Chimera is a small artisanal winery dedicated to recovering ancient local viticultural traditions and valorizing native grape varieties in an area of heroic mountain viticulture. With approximately three hectares of vineyards situated at 700 meters altitude on terraced slopes supported by dry stone walls, the estate cultivates historic varieties including Avana and Becuet, producing wines with minimal intervention following organic and biodynamic principles.
