About the Winery
Founded in 1988 by oenologist Ignazio Giovine and his wife Giuliana in Canelli, L'Armangia produces wines from over 10 hectares of vineyards spanning Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Nizza DOCG, Moscato d'Asti DOCG Canelli, Alta Langa Spumante DOCG, and elegant whites from native and international varieties. The name 'Armangia' means 'rematch' in Piedmontese dialect, reflecting the family's mission to restore Canelli's reputation as one of Italy's great wine towns through sustainable, FIVI-certified independent viticulture.
