I Carpini is an organic winery founded in 1998 in Pozzol Groppo, in the Colli Tortonesi area of Piedmont, where Paolo Ghislandi cultivates 6 hectares of native varieties with a holistic, biodynamic approach. The estate produces distinctive Timorasso, Barbera, and sparkling wines using spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfites, and aging in concrete eggs and old oak, reflecting a philosophy of deep respect for the vineyard ecosystem.
