About the Winery

Cascina Melognis is a tiny winery established in 2009 by Michele Fino and his wife Vanina Maria Carta in Revello and Saluzzo, in the Colline Saluzzesi area of northwestern Piedmont at the foot of Monviso. Organically farming less than 4 hectares of vineyards at 330-500 meters elevation on mineral-rich rocky, gravelly soils, the estate focuses on rare indigenous varieties including Pelaverga Grosso, Chatus (Nebbiolo di Dronero), Neretta Cuneese, and Gouais Blanc, producing wines marked by freshness, vibrant acidity, and a clear Alpine mountain influence.
