About the Winery
Cascina Lana is a historic family estate founded in 1937 by Davide Baldizzone in Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont, now managed by Nino and Graziana across 23 hectares primarily planted to Barbera. The estate produces a wide range of wines including Nizza DOCG, Nizza DOCG Riserva, Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Freisa, Chardonnay, Cortese, and sparkling wines, while also preserving the ancient tradition of Cugnà, a cooked Barbera grape must with fruits and nuts, maintaining the family's rare ability to make visitors feel like cherished friends.
