About the Winery

Cascina Gentile is a family winery founded in 1963 in Capriata d'Orba, Piedmont, now in the hands of Davide Oddone, grandson of founder Daniele, who manages 4 hectares using organic viticulture. The estate produces approximately 20,000 bottles annually, including Barbera del Monferrato, Ovada DOCG, Dolcetto, and a traditional method sparkling rosé called Barbabianca, with a special focus on Derthona Timorasso, recognized as a top wine in the 2024 Golosaria guide.
