About the Winery

Cascina Fontana is a traditional family winery now in its sixth generation, located in the Barolo zone near the village of Perno in Piedmont. Managed by Mario and Luisa Fontana across approximately 7 hectares of their own vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, Sinio, and Monforte d'Alba, the estate focuses on classic Langhe grapes including Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera, crafting wines with spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no chemical treatments, and aging in Slavonian oak barrels in accordance with a philosophy of wine 'come una volta' (like in the old days).
