About the Winery
Cascina Chicco is an iconic family winery in Canale, in the heart of the Roero, founded in 1950 by Ernesto Faccenda and now guided by the fourth generation across 50 hectares of estate-owned vineyards. The estate is renowned for its impressive underground cellar carved 28 meters deep into the hillside, producing Roero Arneis DOCG, Barolo DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, and Metodo Classico sparkling wines from prestigious crus in both Roero and Monforte d'Alba, including Ginestra and Castelletto.
