About the Winery
Cascina Albano is a family winery in Barbaresco, Piedmont, now in its third generation with siblings Marco and Marta Vacca carrying on the legacy begun by their grandfather Marco and father Natale. Named after the Alban hill ('kissed by early sunshine'), the estate uniquely focuses on Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera, and Freisa rather than Nebbiolo, and pioneered a Classic Method Brut Nature sparkling wine called 'Perschers' from Arneis with at least 48 months of lees aging.
