Cantina La Smeralda is a family winery in Briona, in the Colline Novaresi area of northern Piedmont, cultivating 3 hectares of vineyards on clay-sand soils ideal for Nebbiolo, Erbaluce, and Uva Rara. Founded in 1999 when the Menaggia family acquired Villa La Smeralda, the estate is known for its distinctive interpretations of Colline Novaresi DOC wines including Nebbiolo reds, Erbaluce whites, and a prized passito dessert wine.
