About the Winery
Marco Canato is a family winery in Vignale Monferrato, Piedmont, managing 10 hectares of vineyards on historic estate lands that date back to the 1700s when they belonged to the St. Bartholomew cloister. The estate is renowned for its Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC, Barbera, and the celebrated Muntavà sparkling rosé, aged in traditional Infernot cellars carved into local tuff stone.
