About the Winery

Cantina Comero is a small family estate in Sizzano, in Alto Piemonte, founded in 2011 by Paolo Cominoli to honor his late grandfather and continue the family's 300-year farming tradition. The 6-hectare estate focuses on the rare Sizzano DOC, producing wines from Nebbiolo (Spanna) and Vespolina grown on the banks of the Sesia River in fluvoglacial soils, with Paolo crafting approximately 1,300 bottles annually of traditional, elegant Sizzano DOC aged in large French oak casks.
