About the Winery

Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno is a historic, quality-focused Barolo estate founded in 1897 by Cavaliere Francesco Borgogno in the village of Barolo, just above the famous Cannubi hill. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, the winery produces traditional Barolo with fine mineralité and great character, using hand-harvested grapes and aging in large Slavonian oak casks, with the classic Barolo coming from local growers with whom the family maintains exclusive historical relationships.
