Boasso Franco
About the Winery
Boasso Franco, also known as Gabutti Winery, was established in the early 1970s in Serralunga d'Alba, named after the renowned Gabutti cru, classified by Renato Ratti as a first-class sub-zone. The family manages 4.5 hectares across prestigious Serralunga sites including Gabutti, Margheria, Meriame, and Lazzarito, producing classic, terroir-driven Barolo with long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak barrels. Their wines are celebrated for their graphite, smoke, dark cherry, and mineral character, faithfully expressing the power and elegance of Serralunga terroir.
