About the Winery

Piero Benevelli started his estate in 1978 with five hectares in Monforte d'Alba, focusing on traditional Piedmontese grapes: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera. Today, his son Massimo Benevelli manages the estate with holdings concentrated in the southeastern-facing Ravera cru, where the wines combine the structural strength of Serralunga with the concentration of Bussia. Massimo's Baroli are approachable young yet reveal their true potential after years in bottle, while his Dolcetto and Langhe Nebbiolo are classic, pleasure-filled Piemontese wines.
