About the Winery
Bel Sit is a historic winery in Castagnole delle Lanze, founded in 1870 and passed down through six generations of the Rivella family before being acquired by Andrea and Gianpiero Scavino in 2019. The estate produces exclusively Barbera d'Asti DOCG from vineyards in Castagnole delle Lanze, including 'La Turna,' 'Cunsej' Superiore, and the flagship 'Sichivej' from old vines aged in barrique. They also cultivate Moscato and Cortese, continuing a legacy that began when Paolo Rivella first bottled Barbera here before the DOCG was even established.
