Bel Colle

About the Winery

Bel Colle was founded in 1977 in Verduno, on the northwestern edge of the Barolo DOCG zone, by the Pontiglione and Priola families. The estate cultivates 10 hectares across prestigious sites including Monvigliero and Borgo Castagni in Verduno, Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, and Pajorè in Barbaresco. Now led by Luca Bosio since 2015, they produce single-vineyard Barolo and Barbaresco wines noted for their delicate, elegant, spicy, and floral character, and were the first Italian producer of Verduno Pelaverga.
