About the Winery
Baldin is a tiny garagiste-style winery run by Matteo 'Teo' Baldin in Lozzolo, Vercelli province, in the Coste della Sesia region north of Gattinara. The estate stewards just 1.5 hectares inherited from his maternal grandparents, with only 0.56 hectares producing his acclaimed Bramaterra DOC. Baldin's densely planted, organically treated vines grow on diverse soils of clay, volcanic rock, sand, and limestone, producing wines that walk the line between rusticity and modernity with ethereal terroir expression.
