About the Winery

Bajaj is a unique family estate in Monteu Roero founded in 2014 by Adriano Moretti, named after his grandmother's family nickname 'i bajaj' (the yawners) for their joyful, easygoing approach to life. The 5-hectare vineyard grows Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, and Favorita across three MGAs including Gaiuccio, Bric Nota, and San Vincenzo, producing around 20,000 bottles annually. Their 'subtractive' philosophy excludes unnecessary interventions, using natural clarifications and spontaneous fermentations, while the estate also operates a farm-to-table agri-restaurant celebrating Roero's biodiversity.
