About the Winery
Azienda Agricola Barroero Marco is a small winery in Coazzolo, on the border between Monferrato and Langa, now in its third generation of winemakers. The estate produces around 7,500 bottles annually from 65-70 year-old vineyards, crafting Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, Langhe Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, and Moscato-based wines. Marco Barroero returned to winemaking in 2012 after working as an oenologist, reviving his family's historic vineyards on white, calcareous and silty soils, and is a member of FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti).
