About the Winery

Cascina La Signorina was founded in 1982 by Luciano Montagna in Carpeneto, and is now managed by his son Alberto Montagna with the help of his family. The 23-hectare estate includes 4 hectares of vineyards and 2.5 hectares of organic lavender, cultivating indigenous varieties including Dolcetto, Barbera, Albarossa, Cortese, and Arneis. Committed to organic farming and biodiversity, they call themselves 'nature assistants' rather than winemakers, producing wines without any additions beyond what nature provides in a land of ancient, modern flavors.
