About the Winery

Anzivino is a family winery founded in 1998 by Emanuele Anzivino in Gattinara, Alto Piemonte, dedicated exclusively to producing Gattinara DOCG and Nebbiolo wines. Today Emanuele and his son Andrea carry forward this vision, cultivating vines on the ancient volcanic hills that give their Nebbiolo an unmistakable minerality and tannic structure. Their 11 hectares of 35-40 year-old vines grow on porphyric volcanic soils at southern exposures, with wines aged 18-30 months in oak barrels followed by 12 months in bottle.
