About the Winery
Poderi Gallino is a family winery founded in 1977 in Cisterna d'Asti, cultivating 6 organic hectares between the provinces of Asti and Cuneo. They produce Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Roero Arneis, and sparkling wines from native varieties including Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, and Croatina. Now led by Leonardo Gallino and his son Luca, the estate produces 20,000-25,000 bottles annually using natural yeasts, with a philosophy rooted in tradition and quality.
