About the Winery

Matteo Correggia was a pioneering estate in Roero, founded in 1985 when Matteo inherited his family's farm and set out to prove the region could produce world-class wines. Today, the 20-hectare estate is run by his wife Ornella Costa and son Giovanni, producing certified organic Roero DOCG, Barbera d'Alba, and Roero Arneis from sandy soils rich in fossils and minerals. The legendary Roero Riserva 'Roche d'Ampsèj' remains their flagship, with the estate widely credited as a driving force behind Roero's international recognition.
