About the Winery
'l Garbin is a mountain winery in Chiomonte, Piemonte, founded in 2006 by Andrea Croce and his sons Alberto and Lorenzo, practicing ""heroic viticulture"" on terraced vineyards reaching 850 meters altitude in the Valsusa DOC zone. The estate produces wines exclusively from indigenous varieties including Avanà, Becuet, and Baratuciat, along with mountain honey, saffron, and olive oil, with their legendary ""Vigna Veja"" coming from a 60-year-old vineyard accessible only on foot along ancient mule tracks.
