About the Winery

Villa Bucci is an iconic Verdicchio estate founded in 1983 by visionary winemaker Ampelio Bucci in Ostra Vetere, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi Classico zone of the Marche. The estate organically farms 31 hectares — 25 devoted to Verdicchio and 6 to Montepulciano and Sangiovese — and ages its wines in 70-year-old Slavonian oak barrels, producing world-class whites that have earned accolades including Wine Enthusiast's #1 White Wine in the World for the 2019 Riserva.
