About the Winery

Tenuta Colpaola is a family winery situated at 650 meters above sea level in the Matelica area, in the province of Macerata, now in its third generation under the Porcarelli family. The estate cultivates Verdicchio di Matelica DOC and Merlot vineyards on hill ridges in the Braccano hamlet, producing wines that include their signature Canovaccio Colpaola IGT and a sparkling wine called Càlilla, all reflecting the high-altitude continental terroir of inland Marche.
