About the Winery

Alberto Quacquarini is a historic family winery that has been producing Vernaccia di Serrapetrona since 1958 in Serrapetrona, in the province of Macerata. Spanning 35 hectares of organically farmed vineyards planted with Vernaccia Nera, the estate is the leading producer of Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG, Italy's only red sparkling wine requiring three distinct fermentations, with grapes dried for three months before undergoing the unique vinification process.
