About the Winery

Piersanti is a historic family winery founded in 1955 by Giovanni Piersanti and his son Carlo in Cupramontana, in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico zone. Now in its third generation with Carlo's sons Giuliano and Ottavio at the helm, the estate is noted for producing a rounder, more approachable expression of Verdicchio, influenced by the Adriatic Sea and the area's unique clay and limestone soils where wine has been produced since Roman times.
