About the Winery
Montecappone is a historic winery founded in 1968 by Gianluca Mirizzi's grandfather in Jesi, in the province of Ancona, spanning approximately 50 hectares of vineyards across the Castelli di Jesi area. In 2015, Gianluca Mirizzi launched the Mirizzi project within Montecappone, focusing on organic Verdicchio wines from 6 hectares of estate vineyards at 300 meters elevation in the Classico zone, producing fresh, citrusy, and mineral wines alongside the more structured Mirizzi label.
