About the Winery

Cantine Fontezoppa was established in 1999 in Civitanova Marche Alta, in the province of Macerata, on a property named after an ancient spring that once flowed outside the medieval town walls. With approximately 40 hectares of vineyards across two territories, Civitanova Alta near the Adriatic Sea and Serrapetrona in the Sibillini Mountains, the estate cultivates native varieties including Ribona, Pecorino, Passerina, and Vernaccia Nera, producing DOC, DOCG, and IGT Marche wines alongside artisanal spirits and an on-site restaurant and inn.
