About the Winery

Capinera is a winery founded in 1993 by the Capinera brothers in Morrovalle, in the province of Macerata, situated between the Sibillini Mountains and the Adriatic Sea on calcareous-clay soils at 200 meters above sea level. Spanning 7.5 hectares, the estate cultivates native and international varieties including Ribona, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Cabernet, producing approximately 30,000 bottles per year with a focus on quality through meticulous cluster thinning and hand-harvesting.
