About the Winery
Cantina Tiberi is a small family winery situated on the hills of Loro Piceno in the province of Macerata, at 436 meters above sea level, specializing in the production of traditional Vino Cotto as well as wines from Verdicchio, Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Sangiovese grapes. The heart of the estate is a two-hectare vineyard where the family carries on ancestral winemaking methods, including hand-harvesting and wood-barrel aging that gives their signature Vino Cotto its distinctive ""rooster's eye"" color.
